Many thanks to you and Duane for solving my "noise issue". It feels so good to be vindicated in that there really was a noise and something was not right. We went for a 190 mile ride and it is so quiet and a normal Subaru Outback now.
I can only hope that Harley Swain Subaru realizes what a precious commodity they have in people like yourself and Duane. We will most certainly bring our Subaru back for its routine maintenance. By your resolve and courtesy and that of Duane's, you have gained a spokesperson for the Harley Swain Subaru way of doing business. Your dealership can certainly teach some lessons to the so called big dealerships. Again we can't thank you enough for your help.

First of all I would like to thank you very much for your very kind and professional attitude in resolving the airbag problem with my wife's 2003 Subaru.
The people at Harley Swain Subaru in Hermiston, OR couldn't have been nicer and all issues were repaired. We are already going back to them to have another issue taken care of.
My wife and I are very impressed with the Subaru automobile and the Harley Swain Subaru dealership and when the time comes for another car it will be a Subaru and we will buy it from Harley Swain and we would also recommend the same to our friends.

I am writing to you following a recent vacation trip by myself and family from Helena, Montana to Yachats, Oregon. During this car trip, our 2004 Forester (91,000 miles) began slipping out of gear especially on hills, even at high speed. My wife and I had all three of our children and our dog on board, as well as materials for the upcoming week at the ocean. We managed to make it from La Grande to Pendleton, then to Hermiston. It was a Sunday but fortunately for us the sales department was just opening at Harley Swain Subaru.
Dennis and Luis explained that their service department would not open until the next day, but suggested we rent a vehicle (Pendleton has a Hertz at their airport open on Sunday). They lent us a service loaner to drive to Pendleton, where I obtained a car to continue our trip. We left our Forester at their dealership, where the clutch was repaired early the following week. The service manager called me the next day, explained the problem and provided and estimate. Repairs were made and we picked up our car the next Saturday. We drove home without incident.
I am writing to you to commend your dealership and especially Dennis, Luis and the Service Manager for their kindness and help during this emergency. Without their assistance we would have had our vacation curtailed with additional distress and expense for my entire family. Thank you all so much!!
